Probando rotus, colores, tejidos, formas y trazados para las tres faldas que tuve que presentar. Al principio me paralizaba el tener que dibujar, pero al final le cogí gusto. Me gustaría tener la habilidad de representar con dibujos las ideas que me vienen, cosas que veo o que sueño. Creo que así sería más fácil que no se me olvidaran.
He pensado que estas tres chicas me van a acompañar en este nuevo aprendizaje. Son las chicas del The Cuppa Club. ¿De dónde viene esta jaimitada? Primero, como mi tema fue “Afternoon tea”, les puse nombres de tés: Earl Grey, Black Rose y Magnolia Garden. Segundo, Cuppa significa a cup of tea. Antes me gustaba el té pero desde que mi compañera escocesa siempre me ofrecía un cuppa, todos los días me tomo uno y es mi momento de relajación. Ahora tengo tres amiguitas con las que compartir este momento. A ellas también les gusta tomar el té y les gusta todo lo que les diseño J, nunca se quejan, solo me hacen críticas constructivas, mas majas ellas.
Testing markers, colors, fabrics, shapes and lines for the three skirts I had to submit. In the beginning I was scared of drawing, but at the end I started enjoying it. I would like to have the ability to draw the ideas that come to me, or things I see or dream, I believe it would make it easier to avoid forgetting them.
I have been thinking that these three girls could join me on this learning. They are The Cuppa Club Girls. Where does this come from? Firstly, as my theme was “The Afternoon Tea” I called them with Tea names: Earl Grey, Black Rose and Magnolia Garden. Before I used to like tea, but, since my Scottish housemate was offering me a cuppa every day I got used to it and nowadays I drink one each day, that´s my relaxation time. Now I have three new friends with whom I can share this pleasant moment. They love drinking tea and also all I design for them J, they never complain, only constructive criticism, they are so nice.
